Thursday, July 26, 2012 – Effective Wednesday August 1, 2012, Dallas Love Field’s concession stands located in the public lobby of Terminal 2 will be permanently closed. The lobby concessions to be closed include Chili’s, Pizza Hut and McDonald’s restaurants.

Closure of these concessions will allow Love Field to continue construction on the new terminal lobby, which is expected to be completed spring 2013.

Cinnabon and Hudson News will remain open in the Terminal 2 Baggage Claim Hall, just west of the main security checkpoint and the Southwest Airlines ticket counters. This area is open to all travelers and non-travelers.

Passengers still have access to a variety of concessions and restaurants inside the concourse once they pass through the security checkpoint. These are:

RESTAURANTS: Starbucks; Chili’s Too; Paciugo’s Gelato & Caffé; Campisi’s Pizza, McDonald’s; Cinnabon; Sonny Bryan’s Smokehouse BBQ; and Pizza Hut Express

RETAIL STORES: Hudson News newsstand; Tech on the Go; Sunglass Hut, Dallas Hometown Sports Store; Sweet Indulgence Kiosk; and $10 Boutique Kiosk Hudson News / Hudson Booksellers

ADDITIONAL CHANGES IN TERMINAL 2
The temporary wall that currently separates the Terminal 2 lobby and the new Ticket Hall will be taken down in preparation for the Ticket Hall opening in fall 2012. When it opens, the Southwest Airlines ticket counter will be permanently relocated to the new Ticket Hall.

As a result, the Hudson News store stationed in front of the temporary wall will be closed in early August 2012. Passengers can still pick up magazines, newspapers, other publications and snacks at the Hudson News store located in the secure side of the concourse or in the Terminal 2 Baggage Claim Hall.
