The Love Field Modernization Program (LFMP) will renovate and expand Love Field - creating a cohesive, modern facility that will serve the needs of Dallas citizens and travelers for many years to come. The LFMP renovations include a new centralized concourse with 20 gates, a remodeled lobby, expanded baggage claim area and a new ticketing wing.

$8.8 Million Project Launches Dallas' $519 Million Love Field Modernization Program
- Henderson Construction Group LLC recently completed the new General Use Building at Love Field in Dallas for Southwest Airlines. It was constructed according to strict LEED® sustainable design guidelines and has been submitted for Silver LEED certification.
The 55,000 square foot facility is divided roughly into thirds and contains a Cargo Area for public bulk air freight shipping, a Provisioning Area for the on-board food and beverage service, and a Ground Support Equipment Area to serve all non-flying equipment for the airline.
